The present review is aimed to compare two AV receivers - Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A2080 vs Denon AVR-S750H that are meant to satisfy the needs of cinema and music lovers.
A significant difference between the receivers in the number of channels, Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A2080 has 9.2 versus 7.2 for Denon AVR-S750H. Regarding power, then AVENTAGE RX-A2080 has such a W/Ohm ratio - 140/8, 220/4 when AVR-S750H has a power of 75/8, 110/6. The THD is 0.06% for the AVENTAGE RX-A2080 but 0.08% for the AVR-S750H.

HDMI signal transmission in standby mode is implemented in each of the devices. The AVENTAGE RX-A2080 can scale the input HDMI signal, unlike the AVR-S750H. The HDR standard - Dolby Vision is supported by these receivers.

It is also worth noting that the ECO mode is presented in each of the receivers. Both AVENTAGE RX-A2080 and AVR-S750H can be configured using the Setup assistant.
Both devices have support for Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format. The surround sound technology DTS:X is supported by devices under review.
