Considered AV receivers have the same number of channels 7.2. Regarding power, then AVR-S740H has such a W/Ohm ratio - 75/8, 110/6 when STRZA1100ES has a power of 70/8, 90/6. The THD is 0.08% for the AVR-S740H but 0.09% for the STRZA1100ES. Only the STRZA1100ES supports Bi-amping feature. Each of the AV receivers can transmit an audio signal directly to the amplifier and bypasses any DSP processing.

Connectivity

Only the Denon AVR-S740H can connect to the Internet via WI-FI. Only the AVR-S740H has Bluetooth support. Only the AVR-S740H supports Spotify.
