Yamaha RX-V583 vs Denon AVRS530BT – that is a question.
The number of channels for receivers is different - 7.2 versus 5.2, respectively, for devices. In terms of power, there are differences, the RX-V583 has such a ratio W/Ohm - 80/8, 145/6, while the AVRS530BT has a power of 70/8, 90/6. The value of total harmonic distortion is also different, and for the RX-V583 it is 0.09%, but for the AVRS530BT it is 0.08%.
The manufacturer installed different DACs, the RX-V583 received the model Burr-Brown 192 KHz/24-bit, but the AVRS530BT is equipped with 192 KHz/24-bit. The Bi-amping function is implemented only in the Yamaha RX-V583. The model RX-V583 can transmit an audio signal directly to the amplifier and bypasses any DSP processing.
Wireless Internet connection via WIFI is only possible with RX-V583. Each of the receivers has a Bluetooth connector. The RX-V583 has access to the Spotify service. HDMI eARC is not supported by the RX-V583 and the AVRS530BT. When comparing receivers, it becomes clear that each of the rivals can work with HDMI CEC. The RX-V583 has support for the standard HDCP 2.3, compared to the AVRS530BT, which supports the standard HDCP 2.2. Unlike most receivers, our models do not have a built-in phono stage for connecting a vinyl player. There is an ECO mode in either AV receiver. The Yamaha RX-V583 and the Denon AVRS530BT can be properly configured using the setup assistant.
A Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format is available only in the RX-V583. Only in the RX-V583 realized a DTS:X surround technology.
