It makes sense comparing Yamaha RX-V675 vs Integra DTM-6 because they both are able to give some premium features.

Amplifier

A significant difference between the receivers in the number of channels, Yamaha RX-V675 has 7.2 versus 2.0 for Integra DTM-6. Regarding power, then RX-V675 has such a W/Ohm ratio - 90/8, 150/4 when DTM-6 has a power of 80/8. The THD is 0.09% for the RX-V675 but 0.08% for the DTM-6.

Audio features

Characteristics of digital to analog converter (DAC) are different, Burr-Brown 192 KHz/24-bit for RX-V675 and AK4438 384 KHz/32-bit for the DTM-6. Only the RX-V675 supports Bi-amping feature. The Yamaha RX-V675 can transmit an audio signal directly to the amplifier and bypasses any DSP processing. Rivals from our review have Bluetooth support. The Apple Music service is implemented on considered devices: AirPlay. Spotify can be used on each receiver. The RX-V675 can work with the audio stream from Napster, and the DTM-6 can receive a content from Deezer, TIDAL, Pandora, TuneIn Radio.

Video features

HDR is not available on each model. Only the RX-V675 provides HDMI signal transmission in standby mode. The RX-V675 can scale the input HDMI signal, unlike the DTM-6. Dolby Vision technology found support only on the RX-V675. Only the RX-V675 supports HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Unfortunately, HDMI eARC is not available on monitored devices. Of the two receivers in our comparison, HDMI CEC is present in only the RX-V675. The DTM-6 has a built-in phono stage for connecting a vinyl player.

Additional features

Each of the AV receivers from our review supports 2 Multi-room zones. An ECO mode is only available for the RX-V675. Unfortunately, the setup assistant is not available in each of the models.

Multichannel surround

None of the rivals equipped with Dolby Atmos multichannel audio decoder. The receivers do not support the surround sound technology DTS:X.
