Onkyo TX-NR777 vs Marantz SR6010 comparison definitely makes sense.
Considered AV receivers have the same number of channels 7.2. Regarding power, then TX-NR777 has such a W/Ohm ratio - 110/8 when SR6010 has a power of 110/8, 150/6. The THD is 0.08% for the TX-NR777 but 0.05% for the SR6010.
Characteristics of digital to analog converter (DAC) are different, 384 KHz/32-bit for TX-NR777 and 192 KHz/32-bit for the SR6010. Both the TX-NR777 and the SR6010 support Bi-amping. The Marantz SR6010 can transmit an audio signal directly to the amplifier and bypasses any DSP processing. Rivals from our review have Bluetooth support. The Apple Music service is implemented on considered devices: AirPlay. Spotify can be used on each receiver.
