Audio features

Characteristics of digital to analog converter (DAC) are different, AK4458 384 KHz/32-bit for TX-NR696 and 384 KHz/32-bit for the TX-NR777. Both the TX-NR696 and the TX-NR777 support Bi-amping. Video features

HDMI signal transmission in standby mode is implemented in each of the devices. The TX-NR696 can scale the input HDMI signal, unlike the TX-NR777. The HDR standard - Dolby Vision is supported by these receivers.
