It’s strongly recommended to compare different receivers if you want to choose the best one: Pioneer VSX-531 vs Marantz NR1506.
The number of channels for receivers is different - 5.1 versus 5.2, respectively, for devices. In terms of power, there are differences, the VSX-531 has such a ratio W/Ohm - 80/8, 140/6, while the NR1506 has a power of 50/8, 60/6. The value of total harmonic distortion is also different, and for the VSX-531 it is 0.08%, but for the NR1506 it is 0.05%.
Competitive models use the same DAC. None of the compared opponents supports Bi-amping. Both Pioneer VSX-531 and Marantz NR1506 can transmit an audio signal directly to the amplifier and bypasses any DSP processing.
Wireless Internet connection via WIFI is only possible with NR1506. Each of the receivers has a Bluetooth connector. The NR1506 has access to the Spotify service.
