Amplifier

The number of channels for receivers is different - 7.2 versus 2.0, respectively, for devices. In terms of power, there are differences, the VSX-LX102 has such a ratio W/Ohm - 80/8, 170/6, while the Topaz SR10 has a power of 85/8. The value of total harmonic distortion is also different, and for the VSX-LX102 it is 0.08%, but for the Topaz SR10 it is 0.01%. The Bi-amping function is implemented only in the Pioneer VSX-LX102. The model VSX-LX102 can transmit an audio signal directly to the amplifier and bypasses any DSP processing. There is a Bluetooth protocol at the VSX-LX102. The VSX-LX102 has access to the Spotify service. HDMI signal transmission in standby mode can provide only the VSX-LX102. Video scaling is only possible with the VSX-LX102. Operation with the Dolby Vision is only possible with the VSX-LX102. HDMI Audio Return Channel is only available on Pioneer VSX-LX102. HDMI eARC is not supported by the VSX-LX102 and the Topaz SR10. Voice control of the basic functions of the receiver is not realized in both models. There is an ECO mode in VSX-LX102. The Pioneer VSX-LX102 can be properly configured using the setup assistant.

Multichannel surround

A Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format is available only in the VSX-LX102. Only in the VSX-LX102 realized a DTS:X surround technology.
