Amplifier

The number of channels for receivers is different - 5.1 versus 7.2, respectively, for devices. In terms of power, there are differences, the VSX-S520 has such a ratio W/Ohm - 50/4, while the TX-NR585 has a power of 80/8, 170/6. The value of total harmonic distortion is also different, and for the VSX-S520 it is 0.09%, but for the TX-NR585 it is 0.08%.

Audio features

The manufacturer installed different DACs, the VSX-S520 received the model 192 KHz/24-bit, but the TX-NR585 is equipped with AK4458 384 KHz/32-bit.
